Description:
This nautical watercolour by C. R. Smith offers a lively and atmospheric portrayal of an English sailing scene. The red-sailed yacht "Base of Onicn" (as inscribed on the hull) is depicted with precision and a sense of movement, reflecting the long-standing British fascination with maritime pursuits. Such works are prized not only by collectors of maritime art but also by those seeking a decorative yet historically resonant piece, particularly relevant to yachting communities and coastal heritage.
